Find here the most common questions we receive about our bespoke joinery services.
Our products are selected carefully from only the highest quality materials, and we offer you at the most competitive price.
Other rivals can provide the same service as ours. However, we are a small family business, and our dedicated passion for measuring and fitting experience, expert team and exceptional customer service differentiate us from our competitors.
Neighbour Construction is an established company that was founded in 2007 by a team of professional tradesmen who have more than 10 years of combined experience in different trades in England, Germany and Poland. Working on projects and with clients of all types.
We have a wide range of clients, and we love working with all of them. We’ve worked with private clients, interior designers, architects, hotels, businesses, contractors for events such as hospitality, or building projects.
Bespoke joinery is made to measure and fit perfectly in your house; tailor-made joinery can, therefore, help you get the most out of what room you have, making use of every nook and cranny and optimising space to make sure your home works for you.
If you want to preserve the elegance adding a traditional staircase or add beautiful built-in cupboards in a style that is complementary to the building’s time, then tailor-made joinery is the perfect solution.
As cost-effective as some ready-made furniture is unless it’s tailored to your needs, you can pretty much guarantee that the same piece is sitting somewhere in someone else’s house.
One of the great things about tailor-made joinery is that not only do you get something that suits your home perfectly, but it’s quite exclusive too.
You can create something yourself or work with our design team to create something that gives you full control over the details of the design, hardware, materials, colour and finish-the only limit is your imagination!
Tricky question! It depends hugely on a range of factors.
In reality, we recommend, as we know immediately what materials and fabrics to concentrate on, you tell us about the budget for which you need to work.
Understand that there is no exception to a tight budget, so don’t be afraid to share this with us as soon as possible.
That means that bespoke furniture is more expensive than mass-produced furniture, but remember that it is likely to last for your entire life rather than just a few years.
The type of work you need and the materials that are needed depends upon this.
In the consultation, and if the quote comes in over your budget, we can discuss which areas to compromise.
Once the project has begun, we shall bear no unforeseen extra costs at the rates in your quotation. A separate quote and invoice will be made for this when you order additional work.
We also appreciate drawings and measurements of the space to sit down and start working, and even pictures if possible.
We also need to know what template you are considering, like colours and styles etc.
Maybe you’ve got photos or pictures of similar pieces? Might you be able to draw it? Don’t be afraid to do this because it gives us a great place to start, and we can make suggestions based on our experience.
Think about the materials that you would like to use too.
Yes. We have a substantial sample portfolio of our previous works at our premises, apart from the pictures we have available on this website.
We will take your idea during the consultation and provide you with examples of similar work which we have already conducted to narrow down the details.
If you’ve seen an image of furniture that you believe is best suited to your needs, then we’ll be delighted to see it so we can immediately start work on it.
Yeah, we provide you with 3D computer-generated drawings for jobs that require them, such as custom-made, bespoke furniture.
We will have a design drawn up as close as possible to your specifications and then submit it to you so that you can see if any changes are required, we will refine the design and make sure that you are fully satisfied until we bring the finished design into production.
Timing depends on a variety of things, including your specifications and timeline, budget, workload and availability of materials for your project.
What is important to note is that bespoke furniture takes time as you’re looking for quality.
